About this course

Ten video classes that take you through the full life cycle of a research paper, from shaping a research question to submitting to an international journal and responding to peer reviewers.

One example study runs through the whole course: how customer trust in AI-powered chatbots is formed on e-commerce platforms in Bangladesh. Problem identification, literature review, theory and hypotheses, data collection, SmartPLS analysis, manuscript writing, referencing and ethics, and journal submission are all built step by step on that single study.

Every class has three regular segments: From the Reviewer's Desk, a hands-on Workshop, and Today's Compass (the key lesson in one sentence). Each class ends with a Researcher's Notebook assignment for your own topic and a review quiz.

The classes follow the ten chapters of the mentor's book, Gobeshonar Compass: Shunno Theke Gobeshona o Prokashona, in the same order.

Please note: the numbers shown in the SmartPLS analysis in Class 5 come from a training dataset created for teaching. They are not the results of a real study.

Requirements

  • Computer or Laptop (for manual work on Smart PLS and G Power in class V)
  • An internet connection
  • An individual topic or area of interest for the assignment
